<p>Certificate of Origin is a document declaring the origin of a certain commodity or good. Certificate of Origin contains the country where the commodity was manufactured and information about the product.</p>
<p>Required by many treaty agreements to determine whether or not the product is eligible for an import.</p>
<p>Requirements to obtain Certificate of Origin:</p>
<ul>
<li>knowledge that the good originates;</li>
<li>reasonable reliance on the producer’s written representation that the good originates; or</li>
<li>a completed and signed Certificate of Origin for the good voluntarily provided to the exporter by the producer.</li>
</ul>
<h3>How to obtain Apostille/for Certificate of Origin?</h3>
<ul>
<li>Notarized Certificate of Origin.</li>
<li>A cover letter contains; your name, address, name of the country where you wish to use your documents in and an email address.</li>
<li>A self-addressed envelope for the return & a prepaid air bill if you wish to use express mail.</li>
</ul>
